Directions for Our Lady of America T-Shirts

DIRECTIONS FOR OUR LADY OF AMERICA T-SHIRTS, SWEATSHIRTS, ETC.

Step 1:             Go to the website www.ourladyofamerica.org

                                    Go to the Devotionals Tab, Click “Downloads”
                        On the bottom of the page there is a “Photo of New Statue” picture
                        Click on “Download Hi-Res Image. . .”
                        The image of Our Lady of America will appear.

Step 2:             On the very top, left-hand side of the screen, is a toolbar.

                                    Click on File, then Click Print Preview
                        At the end of the toolbar on the very top of the page, there is a “Shrink to Fit” Box
                                    Click on the down arrow on the box and Click on “30%”
                        This will bring the full image onto the screen

Step 3:             On the toolbar at the top, Click on the fourth image from the left, Page Setup

                                    Under Header on the bottom left of the box, Select “Empty” for all boxes
                                    Under Footer on the bottom right of the box, Select “URL” for the first
                                                box and “Empty” for the second and third boxes
                        Click OK

Step 4:             At the bottom of the image, there is a box showing two (2) pages. 

                                    At the top left side next to the image itself, there is a line with an up
                                    arrow and a down arrow.
                                                Place the cursor over that arrow and move the arrow up until
                                                the image is on only one (1) page.

Step 5:             On the toolbar at the top, Click on the first image on the left, “Print”

                                    These directions may vary depending on your personal printer.
                                    Click on Preferences
                                    Click on Media Type, Other Paper, T-Shirt Transfers
                                    Click OK

Step 6:             Insert a Fabric Transfer into the Printer.  Follow the directions for inserting the

                        transfer so that the image comes out on the “shiny” side, not the side with the
                        printing on it.

                        PLEASE NOTE:        The image will be “Backward” on the printout.  The image

                                                            will reverse itself when it is ironed on to the fabric.

PLEASE NOTE:        Directions are given for Microsoft Word 2010

Step l:              Set the Page Orientation to “Landscape.”

                        Select “Freestyle Script”, 90
                        Set the margins to fit the wording
                        Select Center Text

Step 2:             Type on the first line:              By Thy Holy and

                        Type on the second line:         Immaculate Conception,
                        Type on the third line:             Oh Mary,
                        Type on the fourth line:          Deliver Us From Evil.

Step 3:             Go to Print

                                   These directions may vary depending on your personal printer.
                                    My printer directs me to Printer Properties
                                    Click on Media Type, Other Paper, T-Shirt Transfers
                                    Click OK

Step 5:             Insert a Fabric Transfer into the Printer.  Follow the directions for inserting the

                        printing on it.
