Re:  The USCCB and Our Lady of America

Dear Bishops:

Consider the wondrous gift from Heaven:  Our Lady of America.

Consider what Mother Mary promised on September 25, 1956:  “I am pleased, my child, with the love and honor my children in America give to me, especially through my glorious and unique privilege of the Immaculate Conception.  I promise to reward their love by working through the power of my Son’s Heart and my Immaculate Heart miracles of grace among them.  I do not promise miracles of the body, but of the soul.”*

Remember Jesus’s Mother Mary?  One would think that the Bishops’ response to Our Lady’s appearance in the United States of America would be one of joy.  Should they not be happy for the good souls of this country?  Our Lady of America, Who is so forthright, so beautiful, so American!

Remember Heaven?  In Eternity?  Remember Jesus, the Invisible Head of the Church?  Your Boss?

Consider the original sin:  God told Adam and Eve when they were in the Garden of Eden, “Don’t touch that tree.”  Adam and Eve said, “Oh, He’ll never know, He’ll never find out.”  The next thing Adam and Eve knew, they were back on the earth, looking for something to eat and someplace to live.  The original sin:  Disobedience to God, the Father, Creator of Heaven and earth and of all things.  (Remember God?)  And if you want to know why you are here on the earth, you must ask your father and your mother, for it is they who worked with God the Father to bring you here.

Consider Mother Mary’s words to Sister Mary Ephrem at Our Lady of America in early 1957:  “Tell the Bishops of the United States, my loyal sons, of my desires and how I wish them to be carried out.  Through him who is head over you, make known the longings of my Immaculate Heart to establish the reign of my Divine Son in the hearts of men and thus save them from the scourge of heaven, both now and hereafter.”*  (Remember souls?)

Bottom Line:  The Pope, the Archbishops, the Bishops, the Cardinals, the Monsignors – all are priests.  All priests are human beings.  All human beings have souls.  And all souls go home to Heaven when the human being’s body dies.  To Jesus (remember Jesus?) for His judgment as to how we have obeyed His Father’s Ten Commandments while we were here on the earth.

Consider Jesus’ words to Marie-Julie Jahenny, the Breton Stigmatist:  “. . . on the 19th of September of the same year [1896]:  “The priest is no longer humble; he is no longer respectful; he is frivolous and cold in the holy service.  He thinks of strengthening his body when he lets souls groan without consolation…  The worldly feasts will be paid for terribly in eternity…”**

“God never strikes without warning.  He has sent us His Holy Mother who came and wept at La Salette, she was neither listened to nor believed.”**

And on September 25, 1956, Sister Mary Ephrem wrote:  “. . . I was conscious of the distinct and special feeling of the presence of Our Lady.  She stood by my side and spoke to me. . . .  I was under the impression that she came as Our Lady of Lourdes, and she herself confirmed this.  Our Lady promised that greater miracles than those granted at Lourdes and Fatima would be granted here in America, the United States in particular, if we would do as she desires.”*

And again on September 26, 1956:  “Then solemnly and distinctly, in calm yet majestic tones, I heard these words:  “I am Our Lady of America.  I desire that my children honor me, especially by the purity of their lives.””*

“Our Blessed Mother called herself Our Lady of America in response to the love and desire that reached out for this special title in the hearts of her children in America.  This title was the sign of her pleasure at the confidence our land places in her and as a reward for its staunch and childlike devotion to her.”*

And “Though she came in this manner as a token of her love for us, nevertheless Our Lady of America welcomes her children of all nations to her feet, for there will be found true peace.”*

Consider the Offering of Our Virginity, Chastity, Purity to God, Our Father:
Dear God, please preserve my virginity, my chastity and my purity, and He will.  Amen

It does not matter how old, or how young, or whatever age you may be; how used or unused the gift may be; God's gift of our purity, our chastity, our virginity is one of His greatest gifts, that never seems to stop giving.  And so we may ask Him to preserve our gift at any time.

The thing is Mother Mary, Our Lady of America, said to Sister Mary Ephrem:  “My child, I entrust you with this message that you must make known to my children in America.  I wish it to be the country dedicated to my purity.  . . .  I desire that they be the children of my Pure Heart.  I desire, through my children of America, to further the cause of faith and purity among peoples and nations.  . . .”*

And now we must pray and wait – wait for the Bishops of the United States to embrace and advance this devotion to Our Lady of America.

Consider Our Lady’s words to Marie-Julie Jahenny, the Breton Stigmatist:  “On the 19th of September 1901 – anniversary of the apparition at La Salette – Our Lady said:  “Today my eyes still have a trace of the tears that I shed on that day, when I wanted to bring my children the good news if they converted, but sad news if they continued with their iniquities. . .  They take little notice of what I revealed…  Now is the time that these great promises will be accomplished that the Church authorities have despised…  They did not want the light!...  I have suffered a great deal for all this.  Pain oppresses my heart at this moment…  The most painful sword right now is to see the provisions that have been taken and that are in the making…  It is to see the pastors detaching themselves from the Sacred Bond that directs and governs Holy Church…  My children, when I remember the day I brought my warnings to the holy mountain (La Salette), to the threatened world; when I remember the harsh reception of my words!...  not by all, but by many.  And those who should have made them known to the souls, hearts and spirits of children with great confidence, deep penetration; they took no notice!  They despised them and most of them refused their confidence…

“My Divine Son, who sees everything in the depths of consciences:  who saw the contempt for my promises, made arrangements in Heaven for a measure of severity for all those who refused to make known my word to my children as a bright light, true and just… when I see what awaits the earth, my tears flow again… false apostles, under the appearance of honeyed words and false promises and tell lies soliciting my dear children to save their lives from the storm and the peril of blood…  I assure you flee from the very shadow of these men who are none other than the enemies of my Divine Son!  I once again refer to this immense sorrow:  I see pastors at the head of Holy Church (Our Lady shudders)… when I see this irreparable outrage, the deadly example of which will be a disaster for my dear people, when I see this bond breaking… my sorrow is immense and Heaven is greatly irritated… pray for those pastors whose weakness will cause the loss of a multitude of souls (repeated three times).”**

Please pray that you may accept, embrace and advance the devotion to Our Lady of America and that you may come to know, like, love and serve Mother Mary, Our Lady of America, as a child and with your whole heart.

God bless you and God bless America.

Sincerely yours,

Bernardette Grant
