Please
consider that we are in God’s world, not He in ours. The thing is if we first understand that
this is God’s world and He is the one who is changing it or controlling it,
then we are fine. Perhaps God is just
trying to say “Hello.” Or perhaps He is
just tired of looking at the Alaskan and other glaciers and decided to fast
melt them. The thing is He certainly
seems to be upsetting people!
Please consider the idea of climate
change. Photography as we know it today
was invented in or around 1826-1827.
Commercial cameras became available to the public about 1839-1840. In the 1920’s, people took their cameras and
began to explore the country we live in, in particular Alaska and its
glaciers. In 1945 or thereabout, people
were still exploring the glaciers of Alaska with their cameras. A comparison of photographs of the same
glaciers of 1920 and 1945 showed how the glaciers were shrinking – melting – in
size. The thing is where the glaciers
were is now mountains and mountains of beautiful green fir trees and other
trees indigenous to the region. The
thing is while everyone is running around like Chicken Little, totally panicked
because “The sky is falling,” God, the Father is standing there quietly adjusting
the climate and whatever else may be involved in our not falling off the earth
while the polar caps and glaciers melt, etc.
Please
consider an increase in physical earth calamities: the horrific wildfires in California and
other states; violent, destructive hurricanes; earthquakes, volcanic eruptions
in many countries of the world, etc.
Please
consider: Alaska has just experienced
the hottest summer ever recorded in its history since the 1870’s when people
started to record the weather. The United
Nations is very concerned about climate change.
The thing is to date, I have not heard of one country in this whole
world which has come forward and admitted that they sent the “heat wave” to
Alaska to fast melt the glaciers. Or
caused any of the other extreme weather conditions, for example, the hurricanes
tearing the islands of Puerto Rico and the Abaco Islands and Grand Bahama
Island to shreds. Or dropping 40 inches
of snow in Montana last weekend. Not
one! The silence is deafening.
