Marie-Julie Jahenny, The Breton Stigmatist and "The New Mass"

The following paragraphs are taken from the book Marie-Julie Jahenny, The Breton Stigmatist, written by the Marquis de la Franquerie.  This Edition Copyright © 2007 by:  MMR Publishing, 12922 Olive Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68138.

“On the 27th of November, 1902, and on the 10th of May, 1904, Our Lord and Our Lady announced the “New Mass.” Listen: “I gave you a warning. The disciples who are not of My Gospel are now working hard to remake, according to their ideas, and under the influence of the enemy of souls, a Mass that contains words that are odious in My sight.

“When the fatal hour arrives when the faith of my priests is put to the test, it will be (these texts) that will be celebrated in this second period. . . The first period is (the one) of My Priesthood which exists since Me. The second is (the one) of the persecution when the enemies of the Faith and of Holy Religion (will impose their formulas) in the book of the second celebration. . . These infamous spirits are those who crucified Me and are awaiting the kingdom of the New Messiah.”
“And Our Lord Adds: “Many of My holy priests will refuse this book sealed with the words of the abyss.” Then sadly: “Unfortunately amongst them are those who will accept, it will be used.”

“When he speaks of ‘inserted sheets,’ in the ‘Book of the Second celebration,’ it seems Our Lord announces even the falsifications or personal wild innovations introduced in the liturgy by so many priests and of their own accord and without any permission from their superiors.”

The book notes that “The supernatural facts concerning Marie-Julie have developed completely. They are genuine. The criterion of sanctity has confirmed that they are of divine origin.”

Suicide -- In Brief, A Prayer for Those Wrongfully Sentenced to Death, Why Do I Go to Church?, Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be To The Father, Act of Contrition, The Apostles' Creed, Hail, Holy Queen, The Morning Offering, The Angelus, Regina Caeli

Suicide -- In Brief
Suicide is covered under the Fifth Commandment, “Thou shalt not kill.”  We are commanded by this Commandment to take proper care of our own life and health.

The thing is if a soul returns to Jesus for judgment at the death of the human being’s body because the human being committed suicide, and because we are judged as to how we have obeyed the Ten Commandments while we were here on the earth, it might be a little difficult to explain to Jesus how we came to be before Him at that point.  Thankfully, because we are still here on the earth, we can give the idea of suicide a little more thought.

A Prayer for Those Wrongfully Sentenced to Death

We pray that all those human beings who are convicted of a crime and wrongfully sentenced to death under a state or country’s death penalty law, may come to know the Human Being called Jesus, Who was arrested in the Garden of Gethsemane without legal order or writ, and wrongfully put to death by the civil authorities, and may they be with Him forever in His eternity.  Amen.

Why Do I Go to Church?
I go to Church and to Mass to love, reverence, worship and adore Our Lord, Jesus Christ. I kneel in reverence to Our Lord in His Holy Presence in the Holy Eucharist, in His House − the Tabernacle − and in His holy place, the Church.

Thankfully, the Church which Our Lord established is one, holy, catholic, and apostolic. We are all creatures of God, Who made each one of us and in Whose world we live. He does not live in our world. He has given us His rules of the Ten Commandments to live by, which His Son, Our Lord, affirmed while He was here on the earth. Come, let us adore Him.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be To The Father

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with Thee. Blessed art Thou among women and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen

Act of Contrition
Oh, my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins because I dread the loss of Heaven and the pains of Hell.  But most of all because they offend Thee, my God, Who art all good and deserving of all my love.  I firmly resolve with the help of Thy grace to confess my sins, to do penance and to amend my life.  Amen

The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified; died, and was buried. He descended into hell; the third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Hail, Holy Queen
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our Life, our Sweetness and our Hope.  To Thee do we cry poor banished children of Eve.  To Thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.  Turn then, O Most Gracious Advocate, Thine eyes of mercy towards us and after this, our exile, show unto us the Blessed Fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.  O Clement, O Loving, O Sweet Virgin Mary.
Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God.  That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

The Morning Offering
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer Thee all my prayers, works, joys and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Thy Sacred Heart, in union with the holy sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, in reparation for my sins, for the intentions of all our associates, and in particular for the intentions recommended this month by the Holy Father* and for my particular intentions.

*The intentions recommended by the Holy Father can be found on the website http://www.apostleshipofprayer.org.  If you do not have access to the Holy Father's monthly intentions, then the following may be said:  ". . .and in particular for the intentions recommended this month by the Holy Father, for which I offer Thee these prayers:  one Our Father, one Hail Mary and one Glory Be, and for my particular intentions."

The Angelus

The Angel of the Lord declared unto Mary:
And she conceived of the Holy Ghost.  Hail Mary. . .

Behold the handmaid of the Lord:
Be it done unto me according to Thy word.  Hail Mary. . .

And the Word was made flesh:
and dwelt among us.  Hail Mary. . .

Pray for us, O holy Mother of God,
That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray.
Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts that we, to whom the incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an angel, may by His passion and cross be brought to the glory of His resurrection, through the same Christ our Lord.  Amen.

Regina Caeli
(During the Easter Season, from Easter to Pentecost, this prayer replaces the Angelus.)

Queen of Heaven rejoice, alleluia:  For He whom You merited to bear, alleluia, Has risen, as He said, alleluia:  Pray for us to God, alleluia.
          V.  Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary, alleluia.
          R.  Because the Lord has truly risen, alleluia.

Let us pray.
O God, by the resurrection of Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, You have willed to make glad the whole world.  Grant, we beseech You, that through His Mother, the Virgin Mary, we may lay hold of the joys of eternal life.  We ask this through the same Christ our Lord.  Amen.
